Vijay Mistri, MBA (Finance), FCMA, FCCA is a leading management and governance consultant, having been a board advisor for organisations from various industries ranging from Mining, Real Estate and Tourism, to Media and Research.

He brings years of professional experience in many capacities. To cite a few highlights, he has served on a board as finance director and being instrumental in increasing commercial operations by twenty-fold; was involved in Mergers & Acquisitions talks for a Media and Monitoring firm; worked closely on various consultancy and audit assignments with Ernst and Young; and growing his own audit practice from four clients to over a 100 in under seven years. He has facilitated various organisations such as hospitals, banks, accounting firms, insurance companies, advertising agencies, and NGOs in fields such as finance, credit management, and governance.

He has gained the knowledge and experience to provide board governance solutions to any organisation, and has authored articles in the field. He brings a solid foundation in finance having graduated with a MBA from the University of Leicester, and is both a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA) as well as a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA).

Personally trained in the theory and implementation of Policy Governance® by Dr. John Carver, the ‘father’ of Policy Governance at the Policy Governance Academy, he has also successfully completed the Company Director Course and attended workshops offered by the Commonwealth Association of Corporate Governance. He is a Governance and Risk Committee member with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) having also served as an International Assembly representative for this esteemed organisation. He also sits on the board of the UK Policy Governance Association (UKPGA).
